2016 | suez- Baniyas- Dubai | REPAIR/DOCKING | MT Ramtin - SuezMAX TANKER | 25v yrs, framo (one of only 2 suezmax tankers). Dry-docking of typical suezmax tanker at Dubai. Vessel was grounded in Suez canal badly damaged bow area, due to the failure fuel pump which engine crankshaft. Vessel attended on owners request temporary repair of engine carried out. Sailed with vessel to baniyas back to dubai for dry-dock preparation. Complete camshaft replaced with new fabricated one, with 4 no framo pump overhaul along with other work. |
